President's Message

Welcome to our new and improved web page. We have redesigned and streamline the format to allow you to navigate information easier and quicker. The information provided is written to convey both past and future undertakings including our mission and focus. There is important information on how to get involved through membership.  A list of esteem Board members and contact information is also included.

The NCEBC history is characterized with significant milestones from its 1986 commencement, guided and led by the late Honorable Congressman Augustus F. Hawkins, to the present, NCEBC continues to be recognized for its steadfast unswerving commitment to educational excellence.

NCEBC collaborates with community partners, educational and civic organizations, municipalities, and state and federal agencies, to provide broader dialogue on educational, and social issues impacting students and their families, educators and educational organizations, and public and civic leaders across the nation. These milestones are attributed in great part to those who serve on the NCEBC Board.

Let me take this opportunity to recognize and congratulate the NCEBC Founders for their vision and inspiration, past presidents and current Board of Directors and Emeritus Board members for their incredible dedication and commitment. Thank you to the friends, associates and sponsors who continue to support NCEBC, stay involved, inquire about our research and work, and participate as partners and advocates.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about our organization. I hope that you will get involved through membership, partnership, and advocacy!
